What is canva?
Canva is a free, cloud-based graphic design software. It’s extremely easy to use, and was created to allow people at every skill-level to create beautiful designs. While there is an upgraded paid version, you don’t need it to use our templates.
If you’d like to get more customized or use additional features, we do highly recommend the paid version. Our custom and semi-custom templates do require a paid subscription in order to take advantage of some advanced features.

Google Sheets is a cloud-based spreadsheet app that comes free with a Google subscription. If you have a Gmail account, you have access to Google Sheets. It works in a similar way to Excel, so if you are familiar with one it’s very easy to use the other. We love working with Google Sheets for our schedules because you can share, collaborate and update in real time.

Google Forms is a cloud-based questionnaire app that comes free with a Google subscription. It allows you to quickly create forms and questionnaires, customize them, and save them for use with multiple clients. It also collects and stores the responses so you have easy access to your clients’ info at all times.
Google Forms is limited in terms of its aesthetic options, but its functionality and ease of use outweigh it’s limitations.

Once you’ve made your purchase, you will receive a PDF with links to access your templates. The PDF also provides instructions on how to open your template and get started using it. We recommend you save your PDF in a safe place so you can come back to it if needed.

You can use your templates as many times as you like. The links on your PDF will work if you need to download them again. We recommend updating your templates with your logo and general content, and then saving those versions as your new starting point. That way you’ll only have to customize your documents with specific project info and you won’t have to start from scratch each time.

It’s easy to undo and make changes to your templates. If you move things around and are afraid you’ve really made a mess, you can always download the original template and start over. I suggest you always keep a clean copy of the template as a backup.

Each time you create a new document in Canva, it automatically saves it. We recommend that you save the original version of your template, then make a new copy of it to edit. That way you’ll always have the original in tact, and you can keep different versions for different projects. You can create folders and organize your documents inside the folders to keep track.
