Letter of Agreement Checklist
While a thorough and detailed Letter of Agreement might seem daunting at first, it is one of the most important ways to earn your clients’ respect. It shows you are a serious business person running a real business, and that their project is not your hobby. It’s also an important document to keep you covered in case things don’t go quite as planned.
Since we’re not lawyers, we can’t provide you with an actual Letter of Agreement template. BUT… we’ve got the next best thing. Our LOA Checklist! Our Letter of Agreement Checklist gives you an industry-specific breakout of all the things you should include in your LOA to make sure you’ve got your bases (and your butt) covered. It was developed based on my 20 years of experience dealing with all kinds of clients and all kinds of situations. Each time something happened that I didn’t want to have happen again, I added a clause to my LOA to deal with it.
